  • Best finance teacher ever! This course was quite daunting at first, however, having a professor like Ms. Liu made it a whole lot easier! This was one of my favorite courses at UTSA as well as one of my favorite professors!
  • Professor Liu was AWESOME! She was always ready to teach and explain information step-by-step. This course was definitely challenging but as long as you study the material, you're bound to get an A or B. She was always available outside of class in person and through email, and she would respond quickly. I also loved how she would send email reminders about upcoming quizzes and homework. Definitely recommend this course to a business major who does not mind a little challenge. I will take her class if she ever teaches other courses. Super awesome professor and class!
  • Professor Yini Liu is an amazing professor. Through her demeanor and actions, she constantly shows that she cares for her students while at the same time, teaching concepts and giving out material that challenges all of her students. She seems as if she genuinely cares abut her students well being, and I respect that.
  • Professor was always ready to help when need be. Very knowledgeable and kind! Great teaching style, easy to understand. I will be recommending Professor Liu to other students who need to take Fin 3003!
  • I love the instructor. I honestly was worried about this class because of all the calculations we were going to be doing. But the instructor always made sure we understood the material by giving us plenty examples and reviews. Great woman!
  • She is a great professor. She explains things clearly, and always willing to help us out. She is very generous, and understanding. I would take her again if I could.
  • This has been a very hard class, especially for a 5 week summer course, but Professor Liu has done a great job teaching the class the necessary information needed to succeed. I had my doubts at first because of how young she is, but she knows he material and truly cares about any student who cares enough to put in the effort. Hopefully I will not have to take this class again, but if I do I will be sure to make sure I get her as my professor a second time. Very tough tests, but very informative lectures. She prioritizes teaching the coursework during class time, but at the same time, she does not have a problem with taking a short moment to allow us to jokingly complain and whine about the difficulty of the information expected to learn. She is very relateable, yet informative, and she, alone, does not make me regret taking such a hard class during a 5 week summer course.
  • Professor was always ready and answered all questions during class thoroughly so no doubts were left. Sometimes we ran out of time while the professor was explaining a concept, but she made sure to let us know we could attend her office hours if there were any lingering questions.
